Clinical Research
At any given time, DVU physicians are engaged in a variety of research programs to evaluate new drugs, therapies and treatments with the potential to find new cures for urologic disorders and disease. We are proud of the leadership role our doctors take in helping to prove the safety and efficacy of new treatments, and of the opportunity it gives us to make those options available to our patients. Those potential advantages, however, are always considered in the context of the overall health and well-being of our patients. If you think you might be eligible for and interested in participating in a clinical research program, your DVU urologist will discuss the potential benefits and risks with you so that you and your family can make an informed decision.
